Digital Youth Work Team
ABOUT
The digital youth work team work with young people across the city online and in person to offer safe spaces to young people. This helps them meet new people, access support, and learn new skills, such as; presenting, filming, editing, digital art, and content creation. We also work with partners to offer young people the opportunity to learn about a range of industries, including eSports, coding, film production and AI. You can join us on Mondays at our gaming club, which is located in Grassroots. This is for 11-17 year olds and runs from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM during term time. You can also find us on Fridays at Butetown Pavilion, where we offer Young Creators: a content creation club that offers professional guidance and equipment for young people aged 11-18. Keep an eye out on our social media for any other opportunities we're running too.
Without the youth service, I probably wouldn't be able to do most of the skills that I've learned, like public speaking, gaining confidence, and so many more.
